Terms & Conditions

Agreement: This agreement hereby authorizes Advantage Energy LLC, a licensed Electric Aggregator in the State of Connecticut, to act on behalf of the Customer to change your electric supplier from time to time in the territories of Connecticut Light & Power or United Illuminating ("CL&P" or "UI"). Customer agrees to receive its electricity requirements in accordance with this Enrollment Form ("Agreement")

Price: Customer will receive electricity at variable generation rate, which will fluctuate with market conditions. Generation rate includes all additional fees except all utility transmission, distribution and other charges.

Term of Service: Customers may cancel this agreement at any time for any reason without penalty. Electricity supply will begin on the date that the utility successfully switches the Account which may take up to (60) days. Electricity supply will end when the utility successfully switches the Customer's account to another electricity supplier selected by Customer. Advantage Energy LLC reserves the right to modify, reassign or withdraw this agreement at any time upon notice sent to Customer's email address.

Termination: Upon termination, Customer shall be obligated to pay for the electricity and related services provided to Customer pursuant to this Agreement prior to the date that such termination becomes effective, including applicable late fees.

Rescission: You may cancel this agreement within (3) business days from the date of submission, Saturday being a legal business day in the State of Connecticut. If you are switching your electric service from another supplier you have the right to rescind your acceptance of this Agreement, without fees or penalties of any kind, within (3) business days after receiving this agreement. Billing and Payment: Customer will receive one consolidated bill each month from CL&P or UI for all charges. Customer shall pay its bill in accordance with applicable utility tariffs. Bill will include CL&P or UI's distribution charges as well as electricity supply charges.

Emergency: If there is an emergency, power failure, downed power line or any other transmission or billing related issue Customer should contact their local distribution company, CL&P 800-286-2000 or UI 800-722-5584.

Authorization and Acknowledgement: Customer hereby authorizes Advantage Energy LLC to act as its limited agent in the capacity to perform the necessary tasks to establish electricity service with competitive suppliers for the duration of this Agreement. Acknowledged by a signature on this Agreement, Customer hereby agrees that Customer has read this Agreement and agrees to the terms and conditions set forth herein. The signer warrants and represents that he/she is legally authorized to enter into this Agreement on behalf of Customer.

Assignment: Advantage Energy LLC reserves the right to assign the electric service and this agreement at the Company's sole discretion and without notice.
